About Ozum
Ozum is a web development and web design company located in Cwmbran, South Wales. We are a passionate team that is committed to exceeding our clients expectations.
History
Mike and Rob met whilst studying for their degrees at the University of Wales, Newport. Being mature students and having both chosen to take career changing paths, they soon developed a good working relationship and work ethic that helped them achieve their goal of a first degree honours in Computing.
After graduating both worked for a local web development company for 12 months before leaving to start Ozum.
The University of Wales, Newport
An integral part of Ozum’s success has been through the support provided by the University of Wales, Newport during the early stages of the company. Using some excellent business start-up programmes, Ozum was able to establish a firm footing in the marketplace.
Springboard Innovation Centre
In June 2007 Ozum moved into new business premises at the Springboard Innovation Centre, Cwmbran. The Springboard is a welcoming, professional environment in which to conduct and grow a business. It has been uniquely designed to support, resource and inspire new, emerging and existing knowledge based companies across South East Wales and South West England.
Profiles
Mike is a keen programmer and has developed skills in ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, ASP, VB Script, MYSQL, and SQL. He has also previously covered technologies such as C++ and Java.
Robert is responsible for creating great new designs and is always pushing himself to come up with creative designs for clients.
Outside of work, Robert runs the popular 'A Welsh View' blog along with two other other blogs. He is also a keen amateur photographer
